“I’ve always dreamed of playing on Sundays like they say, but work still needs to be done and I want to finish getting my degree,” Harris said in the statement. “I’m announcing I will be returning to the University of Miami for my senior year and continuing to fight with my soldiers to bring the U back! One last ride bad boys for life!”
In his first season as a full-time starter in 2020, Harris, a Miami Carol City grad, rushed for 643 yards on 126 attempts (5.1 yards per carry) and 10 touchdowns. He added 18 receptions for 131 yards and another touchdown.
