The Miami Hurricanes continue to practice in fall camp under the assumption the ACC plan of playing its 10-plus-1 schedule in the fall will be upheld.
But with intensifying concerns over the spread of COVID-19 across college football, FBS conferences have begun postponing their seasons, possibly creating a domino effect into Power 5 conferences.
The Mid-American Conference (MAC) and Mountain West Conference are out for the fall and delaying to the spring, as of Tuesday morning. That leaves eight FBS conferences still planning to play — the Power 5 and three Group of 5 conferences — but, even there, reports indicate at least the Big Ten and Pac-12 are on the verge of possibly pushing play back.
