With Miami Hurricanes quarterback D’Eriq King’s 2021 plans to return to UM solidified, he’ll have an opportunity to improve as a sixth-year senior, and the Hurricanes can benefit from — not only having him next season — but in bringing the younger Miami quarterbacks along.
After Tuesday’s Cheez-It Bowl against Oklahoma State to wrap up 2020, King can work toward fine-tuning his game in a second offseason with offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee to raise his stock for the 2022 NFL draft and push for the Hurricanes to potentially become national contenders.
