The Dolphins head into Thursday night’s first round with eight total picks in the 2021 NFL draft, and several positions to address.
In addition to the No. 6 pick, which Miami acquired from the Eagles after trading the No. 3 selection to the 49ers, the Dolphins also have the 18th pick later in the first round.
Miami’s Brian Flores and Chris Grier used free agency shore up some of the roster’s shortcomings, and put themselves in position to select the best players available during this year’s draft, their third together as coach and general manager.
Miami enters the first round looking to find an elite pass catcher and pass rusher, and needing to address the running back, linebacker and center positions.
