With Ryan Fitzpatrick expected to be the Miami Dolphins starting quarterback and rookie Tua Tagovailoa waiting in the wings, Rosen finds himself in a bit of an odd situation as training camp gets underway before the 2020 season.
Rosen, the former No. 10 pick in 2018, was brought to Miami to compete with Fitzpatrick as the Dolphins endured their 2019 season, which resulted in being able to land Tagovailoa in the draft.
Now, it appears like Rosen an overlooked outcast, biding his time before an opportunity – either in Miami or elsewhere – presents itself.
Until then, Rosen is working with Fitzpatrick and Tagovailoa with hopes his performance in practice could offer some further clarity on his standing with the team.
