The Florida Gators’ offense ran out of game-saving plays while the defense ran out of gas at Texas A&M.
The No. 21 Aggies overcame an 11-point second-half deficit behind a punishing run game and a late forced turnover, handing the No. 4 Gators a crushing 41-38 loss Saturday at Kyle Field. Texas A&M clinched the victory in front of a reduced but rowdy crowd with a 26-yard field goal by Seth Small as time expired.
Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher received a Gatorade bath from his team following the win, his eighth in nine tries against the Gators dating to his days leading Florida State.
