When D’Antre Robinson walked on campus at the University of Florida on Wednesday, coaches for the Gators could not bring themselves to believe the big defensive end was so young.
That’s because the 6-foot-5, 280-pound man-child, looks like a full grown adult despite his youth at 16 years old. Nonetheless, age certainly did not deter the Gators, who became the fourth team in as many days to offer a scholarship to Robinson, who recently transferred from Edgewater to Jones.
FSU became the first Football Bowl Subdivision program to offer Robinson during a camp on Sunday, even though he did not even work out at head coach Mike Norvell’s Sunshine Showcase MegaCamp.
