Gators add QB, two WRs to 2021 class with defensive flavor

GAINESVILLE — Florida signees Jalen Kitna, Marcus Burke and Daejon Reynolds aim to keep the Gators passing game among the nation’s best for years to come.

Kitna, son of longtime NFL signal-caller Jon Kitna, is three-star recruit who will need to develop. One day, he hopes to one day be looking down field for 6-foot-3, 180-pound Burke is a fleet-footed receiver from Jacksonville’s Trinity Christian, and 6-foot-2, 210-pound Reynolds is a physical player from the Atlanta area.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Kitna hails from Reedy High School in Frisco, Texas, and hopes to follow a path similar to the one his father did and become a late bloomer, with UF coach coach Dan Mullen developing him as he has many top college QBs over the years.
