It was uncertain we’d see this day, but here we are with the Miami Hurricanes set to open their 2020 fall football season against UAB.
Originally, UM would’ve opened against Temple last Saturday, but the COVID-19 pandemic still altered the sport’s layout enough to limit Atlantic Coast Conference teams to just one non-conference game while playing 10 within the ACC.
UAB, out of Conference USA, will be that one for the Hurricanes as Miami is the first ACC team to play a game, two days ahead of the rest of the conference.
