Through the first two weeks of the season, Florida State has played coy as to who would be the Seminoles’ starting quarterback. But after giving Jordan Travis and McKenzie Milton a chance to start, Mike Norvell has settled on Milton heading into their road contest against Wake Forest Saturday.
“I believe that McKenzie has worked really hard and has earned it,” Norvell said Tuesday. “He did a nice job the other night. He gave us opportunities.”
Milton earned his first start with the Seminoles last week against Jacksonville State, finishing 18-of-31 for 133 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
