Florida State coach Mike Norvell said redshirt freshman quarterback Chubba Purdy won’t participate in the remainder of spring camp.
Purdy appeared in three games last season including one start against NC State before having to undergo season-ending surgery on a broken collarbone in November. He had surgery back in August for the injury but was forced to go under the knife again in order to have the hardware previously inserted into his collarbone removed after it began causing irritation and inflammation.
“We made a decision as he’s been going through his rehabilitation process coming off the fold.
