Florida State opened the early National Signing Day with a flurry, with three four-star prospects among a wave of players officially joining the Seminoles’ 2021 recruiting class Wednesday.
Cornerback Hunter Washington and linebacker Patrick Payton were the latest four-star additions for the Seminoles’ defense. Washington recorded four career interceptions while at Katy High (Katy, Texas), while Payton is a 6-foot-5, 205-pound linebacker who brings pass rushing skills to the group.
FSU looked to bolster its offensive line by signing Rod Orr, a 6-7, 296-pound, four-star tackle from Gadsden, Ala., who has the potential to be an immediate contributor for the ‘Noles.
