Florida State officials say some football players have tested positive for COVID-19 after returning to campus for summer workouts, but the school declined to share the exact number.
An FSU official stated it is not releasing the number of positive test results due to remain in compliance with the Health Information Patient Privacy Act.
FSU stated athletes who tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, are quarantined and isolated from others for two weeks, in observance of the protocol the school established. The university arranges and supplies alternate housing for those who test positive.
