Florida State football will pay tribute to legendary coach Bobby Bowden in a variety of ways including a logo painted on the field at Doak Campbell Stadium and a banner on the south end zone.
Bowden, who passed away on Aug. 8 at 91, spent 34 seasons as coach of the Seminoles from 1976 to 2009. He amassed 315 wins, 12 ACC titles and two national championships, turning FSU into a national powerhouse along the way.
The school plans to place a logo of Bowden’s iconic hat along with his signature on each of the 25-yard lines opposite the ACC logos on the field.
