Florida State and South Carolina fans have rallied around star defensive back Jammie Robinson, donating more than $34,000 in one day to help his mother recover after she lost her house in a fire.
Robinson, a graduate transfer who left the Gamecocks to join the Seminoles in December, posted his call for help on Friday.
He offered a brief description that read, “We lost our house and everything to a fire. Anything will help my mother out. She is safe and okay.”
He shared a link to an article about the duplex fire in Leesburg, Ga.
