Former Ocoee football star Aaron Wilson dies of cancer at 17

Aaron Wilson’s fight was strong, but it was also short. The former Ocoee defensive end, who was ranked No. 7 in the nation at his position by 247Sports, battled cancer for a little more than a year. He succumbed to the disease Monday. He was 17.

Wilson had a bright future ahead of him. As a sophomore, he dominated at Ocoee High, where he played final season in 2019. He then transferred to St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Md., but he never played there.
