Orlando City president Phil Rawlins said some big names were on the Lions' shortlist of candidates to become the club's new head coach, and one of those names is Jason Kreis.
A spokesman for the club confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel Monday that Kreis, former coach of New York City FC and an assistant with the U.S. men's national team, is in discussions with Orlando City to fill the vacant coaching spot left when Adrian Heath was fired July 6. However, the spokesman declined to confirm whether Kreis is the front-runner or other candidates have been ruled out for the job.
