Former Miami Dolphins receiver reportedly signs with Kansas City Chiefs

The top-seeded Kansas City Chiefs may be focused on Sunday’s playoff game against the Cleveland Browns, but that didn’t keep their front office from looking ahead to next season.

The defending Super Bowl champions signed former Miami Dolphins receiver Antonio Callaway to a reserve/futures contract on Wednesday, according to Terez Paylor of Yahoo Sports.

The Dolphins waived Callaway last month, ending the former University of Florida and Miami Booker T. Washington High standout’s time with the team two weeks before the end of the 2020 regular season.

Callaway had a chance to earn significant playing time as the Dolphins dealt with injuries to several key playmakers down the stretch.
