Former Florida State standouts Warrick Dunn and Peter Warrick are among a group of first-time candidates on the 2022 College Football Hall of Fame ballot released Wednesday by the National Football Foundation.
Dunn and Warrick are among the 26 players and one coach who were making their first appearance on the ballot which contained 78 candidates and seven coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision.
Dunn led the Seminoles to a national championship in 1993 and was the only rusher in school history to gain more than 1,000-yards in three consecutive seasons. He’s second on FSU’s all-time rushing list behind Dalvin Cook with 3,959 yards and 37 rushing touchdowns.
