The Miami Hurricanes will start a crucial preseason camp on Friday night after last year started with promise — before ending with disappointing back-to-back losses to finish the 2020 season at 8-3.
Unlike last season, when the COVID-19 pandemic cut the Hurricanes’ spring camp short, UM completed its full set of spring practices earlier this year.
While Miami has 19 of 22 starters returning this season, many key players missed time during spring camp, leaving some uncertainty about where the depth chart will stand when the Hurricanes open the season against Alabama on Sept. 4 in Atlanta.
