The largest and oldest professional soccer tournament in the U.S. will begin in just two months.
On Wednesday, U.S. Soccer released the first-round pairings for the 107th edition of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, which will kick-off on March 24 and 25 across 14 states.
The first round of the tournament will feature 38 teams; 13 are local qualifiers, 14 are National Premier League Soccer sides, and 11 are USL League Two clubs. All U.S. Open Cup games will be broadcast live on ESPN’s paid streaming service, ESPN+.
Several of the clubs playing in the first round have resumes featuring past accomplishments in the U.
