After a strong 2019 campaign, Jesus Ferreira has signed a four-year extension with FC Dallas, which utilized Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) to complete the deal, the club announced today.
Ferreira becomes the second homegrown given an extension after midfielder Paxton Pomykal signed an extension also using TAM in October. Centerback Matt Hedges also agreed to an extension with the club last month as technical director Andre Zanotta and team president Dan Hunt looks to lock up the team’s core for the foreseeable future.
“Jesus has been a part of the FC Dallas family his entire life,” Hunt said in a statement.
