Florida A&M University’s Marching 100 will honor historically Black colleges and universities at the NBA All-Star game on March 7.
“Our students are going to present an amazing show with exciting music and creative choreography. The ’100′ will be spectacular, and we can’t wait,” FAMU’s Director of Bands Shelby Chipman told the Tallahassee Democrat in an email.
Other highlights of the All-Star game include Gladys Knight’s singing of the national anthem and the honoring of James Weldon Johnson.
