Anthony Hudson has been named the head coach of the U.S. Under-20 national team, U.S. Soccer announced Wednesday.
It is Hudson’s first coaching job since being fired after a dismal spell with the Colorado Rapids, in which he was 8-26-9, including an 0-7-2 start to the 2019 season. He replaces Tab Ramos, who stepped down in late October to become the new Houston Dynamo coach.
“We’re excited to bring Anthony on-board to lead our U-20 men’s national team as it prepares for this summer’s Concacaf Championship,” U.S. Soccer Sporting Director Earnie Stewart said in a statement.
