Owen Larson recently turned 6, still too young to fathom what his father, Kyle, endured during his 11-month exile from NASCAR.
Kyle Larson said he plans to share with his son the details of an embarrassing, humbling and ultimately educational experience following the all-too-casual use a racial slur during a virtual racing event early in the coronavirus shutdown.
“I never really thought I would get another chance to race in NASCAR and I kind of accepted that,” he said Monday.
Given a second chance, the talented 28-year-old plans to make the most of it, beginning this week at Daytona International Speedway.
