Don Garber expects to start testing instant replay at the USL level this season and wants to see it added to Major League Soccer in the near future.
Major changes such as the use of instant replay have to be approved by the International Football Association Board, but FIFA president Gianni Infantino's announcement he'd like to see it implemented by 2018 is paving the way for swift changes.
"We've raised our hand and waved it really, really loudly that we want to be one of the test leagues," Garber said during a recent meeting with the Associated Press Sports Editors.
