The Miami Dolphins saw two of their standout players rewarded Friday for their performance during the 2020 season.
Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard and kicker Jason Sanders were both named to NFL’s All-Pro first team for the first time in their careers by the Associated Press.
Howard, the fifth-year Dolphins shutdown defender, overcame a significant knee injury to play in all 16 games and lead the NFL with 10 interceptions this season.
Howard, who was the lone Dolphins player named to the Pro Bowl, will also likely garner some consideration for NFL defensive player of the year honors this season.
