The Miami Dolphins are taking necessary precautions to ward off a possible COVID-19 outbreak at the team’s facility following a positive test on Friday.
According to the NFL Network, one of the team’s assistant coaches had a positive coronavirus result during Friday’s daily testing. As a result, the team changed its Friday morning practice into a walk-through a day before Miami was scheduled to fly out to Arizona for Sunday’s 4:25 p.m. game against the Arizona Cardinals (5-2).
The Dolphins (4-3) are making coach Brian Flores and select players available to the media later Friday, after altering the team’s schedule.
