Dolphins trade up to select Georgia offensive lineman with first pick on Day 3 of NFL draft

It has become clear that after the Miami Dolphins selected Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailia with the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL draft the mission was to build him a reliable, forceful offensive line.

The Dolphins used the team’s second first-round pick to select USC offensive tackle Austin Jackson, drafted Arkansas Lafayette’s Robert Hunt with the team’s first second-round pick. And on day three of the 2020 NFL draft Miami traded its two lower fourth round picks (selection No. 136 and 141) to Houston to move up to pick No. 111 enough to select Georgia offensive guard Solomon Kindley.
