The Miami Dolphins' recent COVID-19 outbreak will potentially force the team to lean on four rookie defensive linemen to make it through Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
With defensive tackle Christian Wilkins and linebacker Kyle Van Noy placed on the COVID-19 reserve list after either testing positive on Thursday or being exposed to someone who tested positive, the Dolphins will be forced to play without two of their top defensive starters.
Wilkins, the Dolphins' 2019 first-round pick, has started 20 of the 24 games he’s played in his first two seasons, contributing 28 tackles and one sack.
