Antonio Callaway, a former University of Florida standout who was among almost a dozen veteran players who worked out for the Dolphins on Friday, posted on social media that he’s signing with his hometown team.
Callaway, a product of Miami’s Booker T. Washington High who was selected in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL draft, will be among the 16 players the Dolphins sign to their practice squad in the coming days.
The Dolphins must wait until Sunday afternoon to determine who is eligible for their practice squad because teams can claim players Miami waived on Saturday, trimming the 80-player training camp roster down to 53.
