LAKE FOREST, ILL. — Miami Dolphins rookie offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg is sitting out the team’s joint practice with the Chicago Bears on Thursday.
“Liam, he got banged up a little bit [on Wednesday], so we pulled him, and he’ll be out [Thursday]” Flores said ahead of the morning practice. “I think it’s day to day. He’s already working to get back as soon as he can.”
Eichenberg has been working for more than a week with the Dolphins’ first team at left guard. Solomon Kindley, a starter last season, was in that role once Eichenberg was pulled in the later portions of 11-on-11 work against the Bears on Wednesday.
