Here’s the latest installment of our Miami Dolphins Q&A, where South Florida Sun Sentinel writers David Furones and Omar Kelly answer questions from readers.
To recap: The Dolphins on Sunday went, from left to right: Jackson, Davis, Deiter, Hunt, Eichenberg. This was a change from the Week 2 loss to the Bills where Davis was at right tackle and Solomon Kindley was starting at left guard. Eichenberg also replaced Davis at right tackle on Sept. 19 at Hard Rock Stadium after Davis couldn’t finish against Buffalo with his knee injury.
That Week 2 line is probably what the Dolphins would’ve done in the opener against the Patriots, but Jackson missing the week of practice on the reserve/COVID-19 list had the team go with the rookie Eichenberg at left tackle.
