Here’s the latest installment of our Miami Dolphins Q&A, where South Florida Sun Sentinel writers Safid Deen and Omar Kelly answer questions from readers.
A: Outside of the first-round selection of Tua Tagovailoa, who has the potential to become a franchise quarterback for the Dolphins, my favorite aspect of Miami’s 2020 NFL draft was that the franchise hedged their bets on the offensive line.
Too often the Dolphins’ decision-makers were complacent when it came to addressing the offensive line. They’d add pieces here and there through free agency and the draft, but there would usually be one aspect of the line that served as a weak link, and the unit typically featured little depth.
