The signing of Jordan Howard as a free agent, and the trade that produced Matt Breida during the NFL draft should not only add some juice to Miami’s backfield. But it will also diversify the caliber of tailbacks offensive coordinator Chan Gailey has in his arsenal.
Jordan, who the Dolphins signed to a two-year deal worth $9.75 million, has rushed for 1,000 or more yards two times in his previous four seasons. And considering he’s only 25 there should be plenty of tread left on his wheels.
