The Miami Dolphins on Monday placed three players, including two former draft picks, onto the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list as players began to report to their Davie practice facility to begin training camp this week.
Long snapper Blake Ferguson, defensive tackle Benito Jones and cornerback Cordrea Tankersley will be under quarantine after either testing positive for COVID-19 or encountering someone who has tested positive.
Here is the NFL’s protocol, which Ferguson, Jones and Tankersley will have to pass in order to return to the Dolphins facility:
-- If a player tests positive but has no symptoms, he can return 10 days after the initial positive test or after two consecutive negative tests within five days of the initial positive test.
