Josh Allen has provided plenty of hints that he could and would become one of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks every time the Buffalo Bills’ starting quarterback has played the Miami Dolphins the past three seasons.
Game after game, year after year Allen, who owns a 4-1 record against Miami heading into Sunday’s 1 p.m. road game that has playoff ramifications for both franchises, would deliver one of his best performances of the season against the Dolphins.
In his rookie season Allen threw for 231 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 135 yards on nine carries in a 21-17 loss, which was only a byproduct of former Bills tight end Charles Clay dropping a game-winning touchdown in the end zone during the match’s closing minute.
