Dolphins might have starting TE and WR available vs. Patriots after all

DAVIE — Mike Gesicki participated in his second practice, and caught the football fairly well on Friday despite the right shoulder injury he suffered in last Sunday’s 33-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

There’s a possibility that the Miami Dolphins’ starting tight end, who ranks second on the team in receptions (44) and receiving yards (602), and first in touchdowns scored (six) will be available for Sunday’s home finale against the New England Patriots (6-7) because he was listed as questionable for the game.

“[It was] very encouraging. It’s important to him he gets out there and plays with his teammates,” Dolphins coach Brian Flores said.
