Sam Eguavoen’s stay on the Miami Dolphins’ COVID-19 reserve list lasted one day, and the versatile linebacker is now allowed to return to practice.
The Dolphins placed Sam Eguavoen on the team’s COVID-19 reserve list on Wednesday, but his quick removal indicates he either had a false positive test, or had exposure to someone who tested positive, but has produced to negative tests since.
The Dolphins have had nearly a dozen players go on and eventually come off the COVID-19 reserve list. Cornerback Xavien Howard is the only player on the list as of Friday. Howard was put on the COVID-19 reserve list last Tuesday and has been away from the team for 10 days and counting.
