The Miami Dolphins removed Sam Eguavoen from the COVID-19 reserve list, which will allow the veteran linebacker to practice, play, and interact with the team.
Miami’s third-year linebacker was put on the list Wednesday as the Dolphins prepared for the first of two joint practices with the Atlanta Falcons.
Vaccinated players or staff who test positive and are asymptomatic can return to duty after two negative tests 24 hours apart. For non-vaccinated persons who test positive, the 2020 protocols remain in place, requiring a 10-day isolation. If not vaccinated and on COVID list as a close contact to someone who tested, positive, there is a minimum five-day separation from the team.
