Frazier, a veteran entering his fifth NFL season after signing with the Dolphins this offseason, continues to be affected by social injustices and civil unrest surrounding Black people and police brutality.
Whether it’s the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless others to the seven gunshot wounds Jacob Blake took in the back from a police officer in Kenosha, Wisc., Frazier is painfully reminded of his own trauma and fears he should not live with as a American citizen.
“I’m just scared. Me as a male in America right now, I’m really, really scared,” Frazier said after Wednesday’s Dolphins practice.
