Zach Thomas, one of the greatest football players in Miami Dolphins history, will have to wait at least another year to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Thomas, a 12-year standout linebacker for the Dolphins from 1996-2007, missed out on the highest individual honor in the sport when the NFL named eight members to its Hall of Fame class during the NFL honors show Saturday night.
Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, Raiders/Packers cornerback Charles Woodson, Lions receiver Calvin Johnson, Cowboys receiver Drew Pearson, Steelers/Jets guard Alan Faneca, Buccaneers safety John Lynch, Raiders coach Tom Flores and Steelers scout Bill Nunn make up the Hall of Fame Class of 2021.
