MIAMI GARDENS — It may come as a surprise watching Miami Dolphins preseason games to see No. 51 out on the boundary covering opposing wide receivers.
As much as quarterbacks’ eyes might light up at the thought it’s a mismatch on the outside, that’s no linebacker.
It’s cornerback Trill Williams, who has been a standout in Dolphins’ training camp as an undrafted free agent that was claimed off waivers from the New Orleans Saints in May.
“I came late, so by the time I got to Miami, every number from 1 to 50 was literally taken,” said Williams, the Syracuse alum whose full first name is Atrilleon.
