LAS VEGAS — The Miami Dolphins were putrid offensively for most of Jacoby Brissett’s first start at quarterback, then rallied to force overtime, extended the game a few more times in the extra period, but the Las Vegas Raiders had the last laugh.
After both teams exchanged field goals to open overtime, a 24-yard field goal from Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson led to the Dolphins’ downfall in Las Vegas, 31-28, at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
Brissett, starting for Tua Tagovailoa due to his fractured ribs, rallied the Dolphins from 11 points down in the fourth quarter after the Raiders came back from an early 14-0 hole with 25 unanswered points.
