MIAMI GARDENS — A big reason Miami Dolphins All-Pro cornerback Xavien Howard is upset with the organization over his contract is that the cornerback opposite of him, Byron Jones, makes more than him, despite not producing as much.
Jones was even referenced in Howard’s Instagram post on Tuesday night that made his trade request public. Jones, who got his Dolphins contract in 2020 after Howard signed his current deal in 2019, spoke to the media after Friday’s training-camp practice to clear the air that there are no hard feelings between him and Howard.
