MIAMI GARDENS — The Miami Dolphins used the first week of training camp to experiment with the composition of the offensive line, and one of last year’s rookie starters appears to be on the outside looking in.
Robert Hunt, who stated at right tackle last season, appears to be settling into the starting right guard spot.
Miami made that position switch this offseason, hoping that Hunt’s power and his stout base would benefit the rushing attack.
The position switch unseated Solomon Kindley, the fourth-round pick the Dolphins started at left guard most of the season. Kindley spent Saturday’s practice working with the second- and third-team offensive line at both guard spots.
