The Miami Dolphins agree to deals with two players at the start of the NFL’s free agency period on Monday.
Outside linebacker Vince Biegel agreed to a one-year contract to re-join the team, while the Dolphins also signed fullback/tight end Cethan Carter to bolster their special teams, league sources confirmed to the Sun Sentinel.
Biegel, an outside linebacker who became a fan favorite in 2019, returns to Miami after missing last season with an Achilles tendon tear he suffered during training camp last August.
The Biegel deal could result in edge rushing depth to the Dolphins lineup, while providing Biegel with another chance to perform well with hopes to land a more lucrative contract in the future.
