The Miami Dolphins activated tight end Mike Gesicki off the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday before the team traveled to Chicago for joint practices with the Bears this week ahead of their preseason game on Saturday.
Dolphins co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach George Godsey also is back with the team after he reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 on Aug. 1.
Gesicki had been the only Dolphins player on the reserve/COVID list after fellow tight ends Adam Shaheen and Cethan Carter and receiver Preston Williams were activated off the list this past week. Rookie offensive lineman Larnel Coleman started camp on the COVID list but joined the team briefly thereafter.
