The Miami Dolphins activated wide receiver Preston Williams and tight ends Adam Shaheen and Cethan Carter off the team’s reserve/COVID list, the team announced on Thursday.
The one player that remains on the COVID list is top tight end Mike Gesicki, who was put on it on Sunday, same as Shaheen and Carter. Williams is still on the physically-unable-to-perform list, rehabbing his foot injury from the end of the 2020 season.
The original COVID designations for the three tight ends came after co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach George Godsey reportedly tested positive for COVID earlier Sunday, according to ESPN.
