Gov. Ron DeSantis on Friday signed a bill that will allow college athletes to make money off their names, images and likenesses.
It comes after the NCAA Board of Governors in October ordered its three collegiate sports divisions to consider updates to bylaws and policies, with a January 2021 deadline to address compensation issues for athletes.
